Why we built Cherished

We lost our dogs, Eper and Minnie, and felt the same thing so many pet owners feel — an overwhelming love with nowhere left to go.

We wanted to do something with that love. Something that would keep their memory alive, not just for us, but for everyone who knew them. Something that felt worthy of who they were.

So we built Cherished.

Creating their memorials, writing down the moments we never wanted to forget, sharing them with the people who loved them too — it gave us something we didn't expect: peace. A sense that their story had a place to live, and that their legacy was still going forward through causes that would have mattered to them.

That's what we want for every pet. And every person who loved one.
